Although Lafky & Lafky sounds like a partnership, it is actually a name that is used by Elton T. Lafky and Kevin T. Lafky to describe their association of two separate sole practices. Because Lafky & Lafky is not a partnership, the acts of each individual are the sole acts of that individual and are not to be construed or implied to be the acts of the other person. Kevin T. Lafky employs associate attorneys Larry L. Linder, and Haley Percell, and paralegal Connie LaFarge and is responsible for their actions. They are not the employees of Elton T. Lafky, and therefore, he is not responsible for their actions. Kevin T. Lafky also rents office space and services to attorneys that office share in the offices of Lafky & Lafky. Those attorneys are C. Fredrick Burt, Scott Howell, and Jon Weiner. Those attorneys are sole practitioners who each maintain their own separate practice and files. As such, they are each individually responsible for their own actions, and their actions are not the actions of any other person or entity.
